Dangerously incompetent

We've got another instance of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth endangering American service members by sharing classified info over Signal, a messaging service not approved for use with classified info, with people who shouldn't be getting classified information. Even if Hegseth weren't an alcoholic with white supremacist tattoos and a sordid personal history, he would still have been dangerously unqualified. He is not a person you nominate to run the Department of Defense if you care about the effectiveness of the military or about the people who serve in it. A former top Pentagon spokesman under Hegseth says the department is in "total chaos" and predicts Hegseth won't last long.

Holy ghosted?

Adult convert to Catholicism JD Vance visited the Vatican over the weekend. Pope Francis sent a subordinate to lecture Vance about how his approach to immigration is a morally abominable.
