Abandoning Ukraine

Trump is telling Ukraine to give Russia pretty much everything Russia wants in exchange for nothing. This is essentially the same arrangement Trump and his camp have been pushing on Russia's behalf since 2016, long before the current war began. Reminder that, while the public doesn't appreciate it, Russia-gate was broadly true.

Liberal Tea Party Movement

I think we're going to see a lot of incumbent Democrats in Congress get primary-ed as the base grows frustrated with the fecklessness and inaction of the old guard. Looks like there's a fight brewing over this issue among DNC leadership. For the record, I'm very much in favor of liberal Tea Party Movement.

The Economy

Freight vessel traffic with China is collapsing on account of tariffs. I think we're not only headed into a deep recession, but also seemingly looking at some weird supply-chain-related shortages.
